Sales Executive – Eastern PA – Job Description


Duties will include:

  • Lead teams of HP account executives, Comport executives and resources, and Comport partners to qualify, propose and close client business
  • Implement sales strategies and over-achieve quarterly and annual goals
  • Follow up/nurture/close leads
  • Manage existing accounts to position Comport for new projects
  • Position and sell healthcare, financial and other complex solutions
  • Some national travel required; primarily local/regional (eastern PA, southern NJ and MD)
  • Position may have sales management potential of ongoing training and education requirements

Job Requirements



  • Track record of winning complex Solutions Sales involving coordination of internal resources and partners, financial justification, POC’s in competitive situations
  • Deep understanding of IT industry, trends and current technologies
  • First-level qualification of technical sales opportunities; appropriate use of resources
  • Excellent sales skills including relationship building, qualification, objection-handling, structuring creative deals, closing deals
  • Leadership and drive to build new business areas and new accounts
  • Strong written, verbal and persuasive communication skills
  • Proven account management skills including account knowledge, proactive outreach, proposing value-add solutions to enhance client’s profitability and efficiency
  • Strong ability to organize time and projects
  • Attention to detail in CRM record-keeping, follow-up, forecasting
  • Self-starter, high-energy, driven, attend/network at client sport and dinner events, etc.
  • 5+ years of progressively increasing deal size and consistent quota achievement
  • Excellent customer and prior management references
